University Disciplinary Council (UDC)

The University Disciplinary Council is constituted to uphold the standards of discipline, integrity, and ethical conduct within the university. It aims to ensure a fair and transparent process for addressing violations of university rules, regulations, and codes of conduct by students, faculty, or staff.

The Council shall comprise the following members:

Functions / Responsibilities:

1. Investigate and review complaints or cases of disciplinary violations.
2. Conduct hearings in a fair and impartial manner.
3. Recommend appropriate disciplinary actions based on findings.
4. Ensure compliance with university statutes, regulations, and relevant laws.
5. Maintain records of all proceedings and decisions.

Procedure:

• Complaints or reports shall be submitted in writing to the Council.
• The Council may call for evidence, witnesses, and statements as necessary.
• Decisions shall be communicated in writing to the concerned parties.
• Appeals against the Council’s decision, if allowed, shall follow the university’s grievance redressal mechanism.
